Hi,

i am sorry if i am in the wrong forum, but i have a question.
I am the only Admin of my photo album, but there are several guys that upload photo's to it.
Usually, i make the album to put them in first, and then they upload the pictures.
But i'd like to let them make albums (in private) and when it's finished, i want to move the private album to a public category.
Is this possible? Because when i click on the Settings link, i cant move the album to a category, which i can with public albums.

Thnx, phoenix4

Only admins can make public albums.  Regular users can create albums in their personal galleries.

Please search the forums.
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

There are no stupid questions
But there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots

as a workaround: create albums for your uploaders in the public galleries and set the privacy settings so they're the only ones who can see the albums (except you). After you have looked at them and think they're OK, make the albums publicly visible. Another option (that makes most sense): enable upload approval - pics uploaded by anybody except you will need to be approved first by you and will be invisible for everybody else untill then.

ok, but if i go to the album settings, i can only change the permissions of uploading, posting comments and rating.
i am sure i have the newest coppermine version, but do i need some kind of mod? or do i need to change some settings?

"Users can have private albums (Note: if you switch from 'yes' to 'no' any current private albums will become public)" in coppermine config will togle if you have privacy options for an album.
