everytime i upload image it goes into random and last additions.

the images on your site ended up in user galleries - Frozzy - owned, - which is a 'user gallery', - probably not for public viewing... I actually haven't looked much into this, - but my guess is you need to create a 'category', - and then create a couple of albums (one album representing the different pictures on the other site you mentioned, - like Revelation Super Group, Hamidon,Sewer Monster , - they are all albums in a category.)

When you upload images, - you select which album they should appear in, - and in every album you can choose which of the images should be displayed on the front page (a.ka. what you see on http://www.coh-revelation.com/modules.php?name=coppermine )

Hope it helps, - but again keep in mind I'm guessing a bit here... I can look into it if you need more help, - but try this first.

simple really...the site you looked at has 219 images to choose from (so it pulls the last 8 images uploaded and a random selection of 8 from the 219).
now there is a chance of some of those random images being in the last uplaoded buts its slim.

when i look at you site theres 9 images...odds are the random images are going to be the same as the last uploads!
upload more images and you will see less repetition..

(thats why your images are going into last uploads and random).
kiig was also pretty close .

you have created a category (the other site doesn't have a category its albums are all in the top level). However they also allow users to have thier own gallerys which appear in the category 'users gallerys'.

the site you want to look like has the default config setup but has a number of gallerys created (you only have 1)..has users personal gallerys (you have none)...and they have a darn site more images

as a side note: the page you posted for reference is a nuke based, so it greatly differs from the standalone coppermine version anyway.
