***How can I make a link?***

I have read the FAQ, i have searched the forum but they might be different to my question.

Anyway, I would like to add a 'Forums' link in my coppermine site, how can I do this?
I would also like to make a page of just writing, e.g. About Us, or Contact page.

And, on the same topic, i would like to change the name of the links in the menu,
e.g. I want to change 'Upload File' to 'Send in your pics!' or something like that.

...and you have been told before that there's a "One question per thread" policy on this board, yet again you post several questions in one posting. Additionally, you put asterisks into your subject lines to attract more attention - this is an equivalent of shouting (all capital letters).
The way you act will only make it more likely that you'll being ignored by those who would be able to help.
You claim to have searched, but you seem not to have put to much effort into it. Re-phrase your search terms and try again, using the advanced search.

Ive read most of them and none of them are the same as mine, besides I can start
a topic of my own about this problem, it is a forum after all.
Secondly, the other question I asked was on the same topic, it was about how
to change the names of the links (e.g. Upload File > change into > Send in your photos)

I also do not see any relevant topics for my second problem.

Please I need help, i dont want to spend all my time searching around topics (that some have already
been solved/closed) when you know the knoweldge and you can tell me, besides the length of words
in GauGau's post could have been a reply answering my questions instead.

Yeah, we don't have anything better to do than restate other topics for your benefit because you don't want to take the time to search for a solution.

This has gotta be a joke.
I SAID THAT THERE ARE NO TOPICS THAT HAVE MY PROBLEM.

And I have to say it like that coz im repeating myself, i might aswell just COPY the last post i made.

There have been like 7 replies and NO help has been given out, just argument.

I wish people could help instead of critisis all the time.


All i want to do is change link names (e.g. Upload file, to , Upload a Picture )
And I also want to ADD links to the menu, like a link to a forum.

besides I can start a topic of my own about this problem, it is a forum after all.

And no one is obligated to assist you. You did not pay for Coppermine so you are not entitled to anything. Everyone here is helping as a volunteer. There are rules that this forum has to maintain order, and as you are essentially a guest, you should abide by them. Additionally, you should display more respect.

To edit text, go into the appropriate file in the lang folder and search for the text you want to change.
