After upgrading to 1.32 I can not see the full-size of new uploaded pictures. Intermediat pictures - OK. Pop-up window - OK, but without the full-size pictures.
In configuration albums and userpics folders are set to 777, pictures - 644
My hosting-provider (Valuehost) say it is problem with CPG interface.
Example: http://www.zastavkin.com/wallpapers/displayimage.php?pos=-565

Please, Help!

when right-clicking on the full-size pic (that isn't being displayed), you chose "properties" and get the full path of the pic. Entereing it into the address bar (http://www.zastavkin.com/wallpapers/albums/userpics/741web.jpg) shows the message
QuoteForbidden
You don't have permission to access /wallpapers/albums/userpics/741web.jpg on this server.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Apache/1.3.27 Server at www.zastavkin.com Port 80
This means your server is configured not to serve the pic. Make sure you haven't applied anything that keeps the fulls-size pic from being displayed (e.g. a wrongly configured hotlinking protection or similar). Check any modifications you made on your apache server (e.g. by setting rules in a .htaccess file). If you can't figure out what happened, ask your webhost for support.

I have the same problem too and we fixed the hotlink protection and all but it still doesn't work. A pop up error message shows and it says:

(https://coppermine-gallery.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fv31%2Felasticgirl%2Ferror.jpg&hash=5c3870f62457e9c7267a16c5029127a7eaa89bb4)

I checked that page but I don't know what's wrong, I didn't even mess with it.

This is a JavaScript error that is being displayed if Internet Explorer is set up to display this kind of warning. You can disable this error message in the options section of your browser. The JavaScript error is usually being caused if you have over-modified your theme, removing the needed bit of code<script type="text/javascript" src="scripts.js"></script>from themes/yourtheme/template.html
For details, post a link to your coppermine pages.

I checked the template.html and the code is there. here's the link to my gallery http://everything-eririn.net/gallery

Joachim Müller

This is what I get when I try the link given in your post
QuoteCoppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Access denied for user: 'eririn_admin@localhost' to database 'eririn_gallery'
You need to correct this first before I can look into your actual issue...

oh I'm sorry, I must've accidently deleted the database from another gallery script I was using and my coppermine was using it too. I tried putting it back but now it gives me another error.  ???

Joachim Müller

and what exactly should I make of your posting, except saying: either restore the database backup you should have made before deleting an entire database, or install from scratch? The error doesn't say too much, you probably messed it up. If you didn't have any pics on your coppermine gallery, install from scratch (you can leave the files in place, just delete include/install.lock and then re-run the coppermine installer).

I ended up starting all over again, maybe it was best that way but all my pictures are still in the folders is there some way to recover those and get them showing again or would I have to upload them again. Sorry for straying from my first problem into another problem.

Joachim Müller

you could use batch-add to add them (if they're not within the userpics folder). If they are in the userpics folder, move them to another folder within the albums folder before using the batch-add function. Refer to the docs for an idea how the batch-add works.

ok finally, here's what I've been trying to ask this whole time...I put a test pic and it still doesn't show the full size image and I've done what you told the previous poster.

Seems you didn't upload the file script.js that comes with coppermine and is mandatory - http://www.everything-eririn.net/gallery/scripts.js return an  error. Upload it and you should be fine.
If you actually have the file on your webserver and still get the error, then your webhost has done some strange configuration (disabling .js files). Just rename script.js to script.js.txt, then edit themes/yourtheme/template.html, find<script type="text/javascript" src="scripts.js"></script>and replace with<script type="text/javascript" src="scripts.js.txt"></script>
