Upload doesn't work

Helo,

I've just installed coppermine, but i seem to be unable to upload pictures as admin or as a user. I can go to the upload page and choose the picture to upload. I click continue and get a window that says "1 uploads was successful. Please click continue to add the files to the albums." Here is the debug message I get from the window at this point:

  I click continue, then I get a blank page. Nothing on it at all. I browse back to the main page and no image has been uploaded. I checked to make sure that the permissions were set correctly, and they are 777.
  
  Please help me figure out what's going on.
  
  Oh, I am running this from my own computer using the Linux Slackware distro.
