Postnuke permissions

I disallowed permissions for the module using the postnuke permissions, but when unregistered users go directly to the gallery, they can still see everything and are not referred to my homepage. Is there a way to disallow viewing by unregistered users?

Yes, there are ways of taking care of that. Within the readme there is a section which describes this feature.
It does involve changing some standard scripts butif you do not mind, that is the way forward.
As of version 2.4, using the default Coppermine Guest credentials is supported.
