Is the disk quota PER picture or overall space used by a user?  I would like to cap the number of pictures my user can upload.

On a side note - how in the heck can they delete their own pictures?

Thanks!!  I have tried to figure these out on my own to no avail.

Nibbler

Disk quota is per user.

There is a mod to allow a limit based on the number of pictures.

Users can only delete pictures from inside their own user galleries.

Casper

The disk quota is total space per user in that group.  You set the maximum filesize per upload in config.

Users can only delete pics in their own personal albums.  That is by design.

And please only 1 question per thread.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

"per user in that group"

By group do you mean per album?

Casper

No. I mean user group, i.e., registered users, or administrators.

Then, could you help me understand why I have a disk quota but the user has been able to exceed that?

Joachim Müller

how do you know? Please post a screenshot.

Joachim

P.S. Update to the most recent version cpg1.3.2 if you think you have encountered a bug

tpsrach

I deleted some of her pictures, so I can't post a screen shot.

I knew by looking at the member list and seeing how much space they had used.  Where my disk quota is 1024, she was well over 2200.

Joachim Müller

Like I said: upgrading to cpg1.3.2 recommended.
