Changed admin password, now cannot log in

After changing my admin password, I saw the greeting message on the next page ("Welcome Admin") then the next page said "You do not have permission to access this area"... Then, whenever I try to login, I see the "Welcome Admin" page, then click on Continue, and get the same denial.

The 'profile.php' page is where this is generating the error... I have checked permissions (set at 755) but cannot think of anything else to do...

Any help would be appreciated...

Delete your cookies and clear your cache, and try again.

I just did that again... I get the Welcome Admin message, then sends me to the gallery, where I'm not logged in...
