Change default user pics folder?

Hi everybody,

I want to use a different server to store the pictures that I will put in my gallery. NOw the question is... how to do it? No matter what I fill in at the "The directory for user pictures * " I still only can batch add pictures at _userpics. Is there anybody who knows how to change all this? I have a separate part of my server dedicated to store pictures which can be accessed through the root and then a few levels up.... anybody can help???
