EDIT:You can delete or lock this topic...I accidentally chmod'ed the permissions to the wrong permissions, so I got the error messages.

I'm actually installing an older version of Coppermine, and when I tried to go to the install.php page, I got this message:
QuoteWarning: main(include/sql_parse.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/www/aerin.freeprohost.com/coppermine/install.php on line 21

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'include/sql_parse.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/www/aerin.freeprohost.com/coppermine/install.php on line 21

I know very little about PHP, and I have no idea what's going wrong here. I'm wondering if i missed a step or if it has to do with my webhost or something like that.  ???

I can see no point in doing a fresh install of an older coppermine version, you're strongly recommended to use the most recent stable. Any bugs you might experience when using an old version are "self-made" then.
