Integration problem in upgrade 1.3.1 to 1.3.2

Hello.  I've been running phpbb integrated with coppermine.  I just updated to phpbb 2.0.11 re worked my mods, and now its time for the gallery.

I have installed all of the new files, and completed the integration steps.  My gallery is there and when you click login it does send you to phpbb.  However once logged into phpbb, I'm not logged into coppermine.

My cookie domain is .mydomain.com
My cookie path is   /
My cookie name is  mystuff

My old version of 1.3.1 is still up and running fine with out this problem.  I have yet to update the database.  Will this solve the problem?  I wanted to wait untill I got the gallery 100 percent..

I have removed the "//" from  init.inc.php next to phpbb.. 

Any thoughts would be grand.

Unless you do all the steps of the upgrade process we can't be sure how to help you solve your problem.  You need to run the update script, not just upload the new files.

Sorry to sound like a tool.  

Will the update script knock out the old version?  

I would like to make a seamless transition...

If you still have 1.3.1 running, how did you perform the upgrade if you didn't overwrite the files with the new ones?

I copied the files into a new directory, and added include/config.inc.php file,  anycontent.php file and the albums directory.  So at the moment I have 2 directories /gallery/ and /gallery_new/

That's not the way to perform an upgrade.  There are values in your Coppermine database that correspond directly to where your 1.3.1 installation is, which will ultimately cause problems, and could be the cause of your integration issue.

You should overwrite your 1.3.1 files with 1.3.2 files, according to the upgrade instructions, then run the upgrade script.

Back up your database and original files first.

You should have no problems after the upgrade.

Ok.  Done the right way.  I uploaded and wrote on top of the existing files and had no problems running the update script.  The gallery is functional.  I did the bridge mods, for phpbb.  And when I log into the forum, and click the link to the gallery, I'm not logged into the gallery.  If On the gallery panel I click log in, it shoots me back the forum that i'm already logged into.. I tried changing the cookie name and domain.. no effect.. Any thoughts?  the files are all 755.. .?  777 on int.inc doesn't have an effect.

There's got to be something I'm missing.. Last time it wasn't this crazy..  


Solved it.  ..  A Damn Typo in the cookie field in the bridge file..       is my face red..
