Hi All,

I have adapted an SWF/PHP slide show (http://www.maani.us/slideshow/) into coppermine, (look at http://www.heypatty.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=21&pid=692&type=flash&slideshow=5000 for a demo)

It basically pulll all the info out of CPG database and goes from there.

Is it worth porting it to a MOD? if so.. how does one go about making it a mod?

Patrick.

This would be a very worthy mod, I'm looking forward to your contrib (use "additional options" when composing a message to attach, rename foobar.php to foobar.php.txt). If the mod requires only one file to be changed, just attach the changed file to your post. If you need to edit several files, post instruction in this manner:
Quoteedit file foo.bar.php, findblaand replace withwhatever. Then find some textand add after itsome other text

How about making it flexible for supporting other flash albums?  Lots of XML-based albums are showing up. Here's a great on: slooz.com/photos.php (see 'Trinkets' link for details).

There's a great thread over at 4Images-land on doing this.

Hi All,

I have uploaded the mod to http://www.heypatty.com/cpg_slideshow_mod.zip. In the package is a very rough explanation of what new files you will need and what files you will need to overwrite within coppermine to get it going.

So far I only have it going for the water_drop theme but if you do a diff on the theme.php file here and the original theme.php file you'll see its one line of code added.

Its still VERY beta but should give the general idea

Comments welcome.

Patrick.
