Guest views count towards total?

Hi I was just wondering is there a way so that guest views count towards the total number of views? Because I've looked for something to make it so it does, and cant find any setting and I have searched this site without much luck, or would it require modifying the code to do this?

Guest views should count toward the total. Do you have a link that shows that something else is happening. Also, there is no support for 1.4.

hmm oddly enough it started working again without me doing anything, i thought it was odd as i seemed to remember them counting. i guess if there was a problem it wasn't with the gallery... thanks anyway though.
