i am running coppermine 1.3.2 and vb3.0.0

search/browse the mods/hacks board. If a hack has been posted that does what you're looking for, use it. If no hack has been posted, you'll have to code this for yourself, or ask this on a board where people actually know the software you're refering to (in your case "vb portal"). We (the coppermine dev team) don't know other apps like vb and have no idea how to code for such apps. Especially vb (which is not released under GNU GPL, but is commercial software) is not a piece of software we could possibly look into, since you can't expect us to buy a license just for the sake of coding something for it.
