Need help on coppermine "uploading the photos" - first time user

Hi I have read the document FAQ on coppermine, but still i need help

1. How to create a folder in my Album - I was uploading the file to _vti_cnf in Album folder but all of sudden I can't see it anymore so not sure where to upload the photos.

2. I have seen some very good commermine websites - how can i customize with my own banner, logo.

Please help me with the first one - i need to upload lot of photos.

Why did you post in a board that says 'no support' instead of the uploading support board ?

The _vti_cnf folder is nothing to do with coppermine, you should make your own folder under albums using your FTP client and upload files to there, as described in the documentation.

"_vti_cnf" is a special folder from frontpage server extensions. Don't mess with it if you plan to use frontpage server extensions. If you don't, ask your webhost to disable the extensions for you. However, as Nibbler suggested: this folder is not related to coppermine.
