ISP compatability

Hi

Have installed xampp and installed coppermine on local host (my pc). This has latest version of all required software. My ISP is on earlier versions - will this be problem

What should I do to get my installation compatible with local host

My computer has newer apache and mysql than my webhost but I don't have any issues.
