gah! i dont know what any of that means...

i do not have a website- but i run a forum and am currently making a freeweb site. will a coppermine work on these?

But how are we to know what you do or do not have? That's like me asking you what type of octane gas I should get for my car. Without knowing what car I have, you wouldn't be able to answer.

You would have to check with your web host. If you are running a forum that uses php and mysql, then your host has fulfilled those requirements. You also need to have Imagemagick or GD to process the image files.

If that is your webhost, you do not have php and mysql. However, they say that they offer a photo gallery.

@Thu, use 87 octane unless your car uses a turbo, is a high compression normally aspirated engine, is "pinging" with normal fuel, or ... the documentation that came with it said to use a different octane rated fuel  ;D .

@mzsparrow We aren't going to be able to hand-hold your entire way through setting up a gallery. You can't remain computer illiterate if
you want to maintain your own website. Start by reading the documentation, examine the minimum requirements, email them to your ISP if you can't
determine that your ISP meets them.  Search the boards, there is an entire forum on hosts that are Coppermine friendly.
