IPTC and description fields

Hi all

i would like to reprogram Coppermine to read iptc and to copy iptc value to the 4 spesial fields for description. By doing so, i can add iptc info to my RAW files on my computer rather then typing all the information in web.

Is it possible ?? and in which files do i need to change.?
