Is it possible to do a date range search on the 'image creation date' field?

Are date searches possible at all?

currently, this is not possible (with the stable release cpg1.3.2), but there will be a similar feature in cpg1.4.x - see http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=15520.0
