Upload Photos to Gallery OTHER THAN the User's Gallery

How do you link a user to an album other than the default User's Gallery?
I have an album setup for a user in a seperate category but when they upload they do not see the option for selecting that seperate category to upload their picture there.

you set permissions per album, not per category. Read the docs that come with coppermine, this is all being explained there.
