Images not visible

Hello , I was wonderin if someone could help me ..
I seem to be having problems viewing my photo's , I managed to install coppermine fine , but when I upload using XP Publish , I enter username and password , its accepted and then uploads the selected files , I go back into coppermine gallery under the Album I specified ,, nothing is there ,, weird thing is if I ssh into my server under /albums/userpics/10001/ seems to be the pictures I uploaded ,, I can even view them if I specify the whole directory including picture name

ANy ideas what it could be ?

UPDATE
I seem to be upload with XP Web Publishing Wizard , other file types and displays them fine
its only with images ,, gif , jpg ,, doesn't matter what file extention I put , even if I select in the Wizard not to resize images ?
