After uploading 200+ pictures to an album and having to manually sort each one in pic mgr, I have come to request an added feature to the Picture Manager.   :)  Currently, the options are only arrow up or down, and that moves the selected item one at a time. I would like to see a "move to end" button also. That would save me a LOT of mouse clicking!

And before you ask... yes, my albums are set to sort by position instead of file name. This was done to preserve the chronological sort order for hundreds of pictures I had taken pre-digital & pre-Coppermine. And, since the ability to set a sort order is only allowed globally, rather than at the album or category level, I have to position all my files and can't rely on file names. If the powers that be decide to allow sort order to be set at the album level in the future (would be great), I still think the move to end feature in Picture Mgr would be worthwhile.

Thanks!

I am in the same boat as Latisha. Due to a variety of issues, I can't count on sorting by filename or anything else of the like. The best option for me is sorting in picmgr. That being said, I would LOVE to have a more convenient interface to picmgr. At the very least I think that it you should be able to see the thumbnails instead of just the filenames. Preferably a drag and drop interface would be implemented. I am a huge fan of Coppermine and appreciate this great software. But as much as it pains me to say it, this feature (picture sorting) is much easier to use in other photo gallery software (eg. Gallery).

Has been requested often already. No point in requesting one and the same thing over and over again.
