I have phpBB 2.0.13 and CPG 1.3.2 and have successfully bridged and intergrated them together.  I can login successfully with my phpBB username.
When I click on "My Gallery" there are no pictures in there.  I cannot figure out how I can upload files to "My Gallery".  When I click on "My Gallery" it actually says "Home > User galleries > lsd_se" but I don't know how I can upload files to it.

Also, when I leave admin mode and go into user mode, I cannot upload files to any album.  I get this message "Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files "

I have looked through config at least 4 times, and cannot figure it out.  I have searched on this site to no avail as well.
I am assuming it is because of some issue with the bridge/integration my username is not receiving access.

Thanks!  :)

Have you allowed uploading in the groups page ?

lsd_se

yes, in groups it looks like this:

I would be in the admin group.  the problem is when i am in user mode.
These are the groups that exist in my phpBB DB.

A user has to create an album before they can upload.  Public albums must be allowed to let visitors upload into them.  As a regular user, did you create an album to upload into?  As the admin, have you created public albums and set them to allow visitors to upload?

thank you for your reply, I didin't realize the properties on each album had to be set.
I can now upload to regular albums.

I cannot see the "User Galleries" in my album list.  I have read through both the FAQ and Manual and it doesn't say anything about how to active this.  In my config " Users can have private albums" is set to "no".  I assume it might be missing because there are not pictures in the user gallery.
In the "Categories" list in admin, it lists the user galleries category, but it does not appear on the gallery index page.  I can access my gallery at  "Home > User galleries > lsd_se" but I cannot upload files to it.

How can I activate the user galleries and upload to it?

Thanks  :)

P.S.  I'm a n00b at CPG, sorry for the questions  :P

You have to create an album within the user galleries category (Create / order my albums) and then you can upload into it.

lsd_se

Man, I can't figure out why I can't understand this.  ??? :-\\

OK, so I go into admin, click on the albums link to access Album Manager, click on "*My Gallery* in the "Select category" drop down list, and add an album.
OK it works.

But, how can users create their own album then? I would hope that users can login, go to "My Gallery" and create their own albums.  Is this possible?  Or do user albums have to be created by admin?

Thanks  :)

When users are logged in as admin, they should see buttons that enable them to create albums. Have you tried logging in with a user account?

kegobeer

When a normal user logs in, he/she may see this:

Album list ::  My gallery ::  Admin mode ::  Upload file ::  Logout [dave]

To create albums, they need to click Admin mode.  Then they see a menu with (Create / order my albums).  They click create, and viola they have a personal gallery now.

I see, those buttons weren't showing up in my account, cause I am admin I guess.

I logged in under a user account, and all is good with the user accounts!

Thanks alot for your help!  Nice community you guys got here  :)
