Integration cpg1.3 w/ phpBB 2.0.11 login resolution needed. note newbie.

I've installed cpg 1.3 from fantastico cpanel.
I followed all Bridge/Integration documentation.

I select login from cpg and it directs to forum login then it directs to forum index.
Here I am concerned! It doesen't show that I logged into the forum or the gallery.
at this point im concerned that my forum users won't be logged into the forum correctly.

Note*
I am using an existing forum administrator user name and password to try to login.
I also tried it with the cpg admin admin that I set up when installing.
I tried clearing cookies
I tried login in to the forum and then going to cpg (still not logging in)

can you look things over I really like cpgs look and the fact that it can be bridged with my existing forum. I had complaints about not being able to use the same username and pass on my previous gallery powered by gallery.

Can you post a test user account ?

It looks like your board isn't setting cookies properly, make sure you set a valid cookie domain in phpbb config.

Nibbler asked you to post a test user account.  Why did you quote your original post?

Just by looking at the links you posted I can tell you your problem may be caused because you have one cookie being set on www.texashotboats.com and another being set on texashotboats.com.  You need to decide: either use www. for both of your sites, or don't use it at all.

I'm guessing you have your "Target address for the 'See more pictures' link in e-cards" set to http://texashotboats.com/gallery/.  Try changing it to http://www.texashotboats.com/gallery/

Make sure you delete all cookies for your domain (www and no www), close your browser, then try again.

I will change the cookie as the above reply states to texashotboats.com instead of the www.

You need to to change the phpbb's cookie domain. Bridging won't affect your ability to login to phpbb.

It seems to be set to http://www.texashotboats.com/forums

it should be just texashotboats.com

I checked to see if I was logged into the forums as well and I was.
Also I checked to see if I could use another registered user from forums and it worked.

I have a question
If I logg out of one or the other will it log me out of the other?

And do I need to do anything else or am I good to go?

Yes, clicking logout in coppermine will log you out of your forum. Your bridging now seems to be working perfectly.

It seems the bridge documentation is very clear.  I recomend  being more specific in (elementary) terms about the cookies and paths.
