integrate gallery to welcome page

I have an easy question, I guess.
I want to integrate the coppermine gallery to my website.

There should be one picture in random, shown in the little green box
under the sitemap. Is there any script, as the "show last phpBB posts at welcome page" ?

On the site www.olsrexperiment.de this gallery is integrated, as I want it, too.
