Cookie session

My coppermine is bridged with phpBB. I have an idea, but do not know how to make it. How to make so that, when we leave the page the login also expires, it´s quite uncomfortable for users to log out every time. There´s an opportunity to make ssl connection with phpBB, but when we make a session there, it´s not possible to log in again, because the cookie does not expire. (if you know what i mean) 

Has anybody already done it, so that the login session expires, when the user leaves from page.?

Please help me , i know it´s standalone support
