hallo,

is it possible, to make my cpg (with it's 250 pictures and many comments...) offline-available, so that it runs on a cd?
of course the dynamic pages have to become static html with discreption and comments, without db-using...

can this work?

Simple Answer: not possible

Long Answer:
CPG is written in PHP, a server-side scripting language. It also requires mySQL, a database system. CPG only works on a server that can support both these requirements. If you can get an APACHE web server and a mySQL database engine to run off of a CD then theoretically it is possible; however very unlikely.
Please do not PM me with support questions. Please read the manual and then if posting questions please place them in the proper sub-boards.

I have searched on making a portable WAMP setup on CD and it seems possible, but I haven't completed it.

i know, that all that tecnologies are required for the full use, like make comments, and so on.
but if no sql is requiret (just viewing the pictures), static html-pages are theoretical possible, or not?

You could try httrack to do this, search the board for previous discussions.

with such a small gallery (250 pics only) definitely not a problem using httrack
