Seems like my file path is wrong or something

it acts like it upload the file successfully but then says

Quote
The previous file could not be placed.

You have successfully placed all the files.

So what could that be?

I seem to have a similar problem like yours and I received the same kind response as the one you received. I thought uploading the images was supposed to be the easy part.
Anyway my errors appear like this:

Warning: move_uploaded_file(./albums/edit/mHTTP_temp_c65005d8.zip): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/sallie90/public_html/search/upload.php on line 1197

Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/tmp/phpDLtp74' to './albums/edit/mHTTP_temp_c65005d8.zip' in /home/sallie90/public_html/search/upload.php on line 1197

And

Error Report
The following uploads encountered errors:
File Uploads:
File Name/URL Error Message
1. john 84-8 20x20 .zip Impossible to move.
URI/URL Uploads:
File Name/URL Error Message
1. http://sm.port-8080.com/search/albums/userpics/ Unknown MIME type

The info I received didn't really help all that much unfortunately but I'm still working on it.

Did you visit the links I provided in your other post?  Did you search the forums for "move_uploaded_file" or "impossible to move"?
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

There are no stupid questions
But there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots

Yes thankkyou I did read those sections. And yes I also had a look through the forums for "move_uploaded_file" or "impossible to move" (well things related to that wording anyway).
I think I have solved my problem, someone else showed me that I needed  either GD or ImageMagick which was on the coppermine home page, but I still need to test it I'll reply again in a couple of days or so to tell you if it worked or not.  :)

Unfortunately it didn't work so I may need to make something of my own in order to make this gallery work for me. What I'm looking for is a search engine and database in one for a photo gallery.

Thanks for your help :)
