When one of our users is logged in on the phpbb forums, he is not logged in on the photo gallery. he clicks "login," and it just takes him back to the forum portal, and no matter where he logs in/out (he has tried all combos), he is not able to "log in" to the cpg.

The strange thing is, no one else is having any problems. Other users are logged in on cpg if they are logged in on the forums. I have created test users with the same user/group/permission settings as this one user, and all are fine.

My question is, could there perhaps be some sort of browser problem? Like if his browser is set to accept cookies in a way that it lets him log into the forums, but not into cpg? Have you guys ever had these kinds of problems with other users? Like I said, it works for everyone else, so I do not think I bridged/integrated wrong.

http://www.i2evolutionary.com is the site, link to photo gallery is in the upper left if you want to try

Please post a test username and password, too.

I was able to log in fine with Firefox and IE. Could you have the user specify the browser, security software, and the security settings used in the browser?

Roark

Uses IE, also tried MSN browser, but that didn't work

Uses windows SP2 firewall

privacy set to medium, security is set to "custom" , is there any specific thing in there that would change if cpg allows a user to log in?

also had him change privacy to "accept all cookies" and no difference.

he tried to log in under "test/test" and it did not work, so it does not have to do with the permissions or groups he's in or anything. it must be something with his browser or settings. is there anything you guys know to conflict with who cpg allows to log in?

Nibbler

It would be a conflict with the board, not with coppermine. Probably Norton.

Roark

he has no problem logging into the board, only the cpg, and disabling his AV had no effect.

What you got to do, is make sure that they check that little box that says "Log me in automatically..."

I had people who had that problem too until we figured that one out.  It places a cookiee in your system and makes all the world of a difference.

A link to your site and a test user account might help.
