MySQL Databases

By default I only get one MySQL database with my current web hosting package but this is used for my PHPbb forum. Is it possible to use the same database for coppermine or will I have to upgrade to a hosting package with additional databases?

On a semi-related note, Would coppermine allow me to host images on a different server to that of the gallery files and database ?


Any advice would be much aprechiated

Coppermine can share databases fine, although images must be on the same server as Coppermine.

If you want to bridge the phpbb and coppermine logins, you would need them to use the same database.

So there no way at all to modify it so it uploads files to a specified folder on a different server ?

Sure, it's technically possible just no one has posted a guide as to how.
