I have been through my settings numerous times and can't find what's wrong.

Registration emails don't go out & neither do ecards.  I selected the option to log ecards, and they appear like they've been sent.  I've openned & examined the cards & can't find anything wrong with the link or anything.

Any ideas?  Please??

Are you sending by mail() (default) or by SMTP ? and have you tried the other way ?

undeleted

Sorry, I had to re-register with a new name.  I forgot to save my password when I joined this morning & no confirmation was sent, nor was a reset password link sent either  :P

Anyways, that is part of what's so strange - I have yet to find an option whether to use smtp, mail () or default.  This is driving me nutes  :-\\

Hi, I'm having the same/similar problem. Sorry for this dumb question but here goes:

I read the relevant manual section, but I can't find the relevant bit in the include/mailer.inc.php file that may need to be altered. I can't figure out which variable is the webhost's mailer.

I have 2 galleries in the same overall website (I've got a plethora of subdomains running). The gallery at the top level, http://www.moon-and-star.com/gallery will display the photo with the ecard when you view it in the ecard log (but I won't get an email from there).

The other gallery, located at http://metalfinger.moon-and.star.com/photos (yes, I named the directory something other than "gallery" in a moment of idiocy) will neither send an ecard nor will the photo display when viewing the ecard in the log.

I haven't touched anything inside of any of the php files. My webhost has a "path to sendmail: /usr/bin/sendmail" listed in my Control Panel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

when using sendmail, you won't have to change anything at all, it's the default config. Make sure you have a vaild email address in coppermine's config that is actually allowed to send emails on your server. Ask your webhost for details on the usage of sendmail.
