Hi

I'm a coppermine newbie.

My site is running on a CMS system (subdreamer).  When I create a plugin that links to Coppermine I get an error message that:~
QuoteCoppermine Photo Gallery seems not to be installed correctly, or you're running coppermine for the first time.
Go straight to the Coppermine URL and iis working well as a standalone.

Any suggestions please

out of the box coppermine can't be used embedded into a cms. Usually, you have to create a port (which is not that easy). Bottom line: unless you really know your way around both in your cms and coppermine, you can't do what you're up to. Coppermine can't be used within another page using PHP's "include" or "require" commands.
