Hi all:

I have some basic knowledge about uploading modules then initializing and activating, But this seems a little more complicated!

I have already obtained Coppermine 1.2, and the pnCPG 1.5

Now, I think i read that I have to upload both to the modules directory!

After I do that, do I have to do the install.php for coppermine?

or do I initialize and activate before I do that?

If anyone has some detailed instructions for dumb people like me, would be great!

Miguel,

you can install coppermine anywhere on your webserver. Before starting with pnCPG, you have to make sure that Coppermine is working outside PostNuke (again you could install Coppermine as http://www.yourdomain.com/coppermine).
Next, after Coppermine is working as standalone application and ofcourse after Postnuke is working ok, you should upload pnCPG in the modules directory from PostNuke. Then initialize & activate. Before trying the integration, go to the admin section of pnCPG (which you can find in the admin section of PostNuke) and ensure the settings fit your webserver.

Follow the instructions to create a menu shortcut for pnCPG and you are done !

Cas,

maybe you could pack up both your pn-integration files and the standalone cpg files into one package, as most users don't really care where their cpg-installation actually resides in, it could well be within the modules structure of pn itself. Please send the package to me, I'll put it into the download section then, labelling it something like full-super-all-inclusive-package
