turn off display of notices if they don't mean anything to you in coppermine's config. You should have replied on the mod thread you're refering to, as mods are user contributions that the supporters are not familiar with usually. Mods mostly go unsupported.

Crash_Sys

My Bad, What will happend if I delete those lines? Will it still work

Joachim Müller

of course not! Don't remove the code; do as I suggested and turn notices off. Post a link to your site for details.

Here is the Link to the site, and I have add the a admin account and a user account

http://www.hkf.fastefx.com/gallery/

AdminID: ***********
AdminPW: **************

UserID: test
UserPW: test

Please Help, ME, Not sure what is wrong.

Joachim Müller

I can't see your issues. Never post an admin account on a public board! I removed it from your above posting, remove the account and change your "regular" admin account's password asap.

Why don't you just do as Gaugau said and turn notices of in the config. Thats all you need to do!

I can't see how we can help you any further if you even don't try to do this and instead giving a link to your site.
Don't ask me: Can you do this .... or Give me that...or I need Quick help in PM's. I'm not Santaclaus so post your questions on the board so it will be in the benefit for everyone.

Crash_Sys won't receive any further support, as he obstructed the readability of the "Powered by Coppermine" tag on his page. Support will only return if the tag returns on his page permanently. Giving credit where credit is due is not too much to ask for.

I have retracted my negative comments, once again sorry! :-[

Joachim Müller

Swearing won't win you friends here, and lying won't either: you deliberately modified the font-size in your style sheet, and you even have a comment in it that shows you're fully aware of it. In your style sheet, you have/*
Powered by Coppermine Photo Gallery Font Size
*/
.footer {
        font-size : 1px;
}
. You never asked "how do I make the credit line bigger", don't claim such things. You're not looking for theming support. In this thread, you're looking for support on a mod that isn't even part of coppermine's core code.

I won't let you turn this thread into a place where you can swear and curse, so I'm locking it (as well as the other open threads you have). Don't start new threads. Send me a PM if you have put back the coppermine footer to a reasonable size, I will then look into it and unlock your open threads.

http://www.hkf.fastefx.com/gallery/ is down, http://www.hkf.fastefx.com/ shows that your coppermine install is empty, but I was not able to see any copyright notice.

I have change the sub-domain, for the mean while, the gallery is located at sandbox.fastefx.com/gallery for temporally, while I have add all the mods and modifications to it!

Can I start posting again? ???

Joachim Müller

http://sandbox.fastefx.com/gallery/ has the classic theme (and many errors). Restore what you used to have, I'm not convinced yet that you actually mean to permanently keep the "Powered by Coppermine" tag. I can't see a need to start new threads or reply to existing ones while you still have so  much to fix.

Joachim Müller

less is more, I recommend applying less hacks, will make updates easier in the future. Disable notices display in coppermine config. Some mods may even collide. It's a drawback of every app when heavily modified.

I'm going to install it fresh, start over from them! Where do I edit config for me to Disable notices? I was wondering if you could help me out with the BB-Code, I try'ed over ten times, could get nothing to work?

Joachim Müller

bbcode usage already is part of the coppermine core code, any additional mods that you apply can't be supported by me, as I don't know those mods. Additionally, this discussion belongs into another thread. In fact, you should discuss all mods on their proper threads, but you have to understand that those mods/hacks are just what the label says: user contributions that are not part of the coppermine core code (mostly because the coppermine devs don't consider the mods to be fit for the actual core code).

You disable notices in coppermine's config, at the very bottom, right below the debug mode settings. It's off by default, you must have enabled it deliberately, so I recommend you just use the options you actually understand. For details, please review the documentation.

I have a stange unpleasant feeling with user Crash_Sys, and decided not to give any support anymore.

Respect to Gaugau for staying so polite and patience with this user.
