I have version 1.3.3

I'm new to this program, and I'm having some problems uploading.  I'm normally going straight through XP to upload.  I have some photos that are over 1200px in width, so I changed my config to allow over 5000 in size (px/kb) uploads (just messing around to try to allow me to upload) and see if I can get this to work to upload my larger photos.  It still won't allow me.  Even through the upload program on the photogallery itself.  I go to upload, it says it's uploaded, I click the continue button to choose the folder for it to go into, and I get a blank page.  Can't find the file anywhere.

So, I uploaded it again via XP, told it to resize it to 1024.  Now it's up, and I changed my config back down to 1200.  The thing is, I want them to be able to click on the picture and see the larger (and original) version of the photo, and it isn't happening in this instance.

How can I make it that all of the intermediate photos are pretty much the same size, and they can click on them to bring up the larger (original) sized photo without having problems with loading them up?

I know this has probably been asked before, and I've searched around (for about 45 minutes), but I should at least be able to load the thing up via photogallery itself, but it's not letting me.

Here's where my photo gallery is located:  http://www.harrypotterspage.com/images/photogallery/index.php

Here's where the particular photo (this is just a test photo, as there are many more like this) that i'm talking about is:  http://www.harrypotterspage.com/images/photogallery/displayimage.php?album=11&pos=70

This particular photo's regular size is 1828x765.

Cheers!

setting the max size to 5.000 KB is wishfull thinking, there are server-sided restrictions in place that won't let you process images that large. Nothing you can do, unless you have the power to modify php.ini (which usually is only the case if you're not webhosted, but run your own server). Additionally, such large files are a waste of resources, webspace, bandwidth and time. You should resize them before uploading. You (as coppermine gallery admin) should use FTP-upload and batch-add as upload method anyway. I'm not sure what you mean by

though.
See the sticky posts on the sub-board I'm moving your thread to for details on the server-sided settings that keep you from uploading large files (both in filesize and dimensions).
