i have no idea WHAT forum to put this in..

currently i use picasa to arrange and setup my files... cropping, sorting, etc..

it has two word-sorting techniques.. labels (remenicint of coppermine keywords) and EXIF keywords which dont really have much use, at least i havent played with them..

i would love to extreme-keyword my gallery, such as clicking a person's name will pull all the pics of them, out of thousands of photos (it's a collective concert gallery), or clicking a topic keyword such as "drunken_activity" will bring up all images marked as related...

obviously using coppermine's one at a time editing is tedious at best..
one photo at a time editing and re-editing if you come up with another keyword idea to add to the sorting block

anyway.. what i'm asking is if there is any sort of program that has almost the ease of picasa's label-adding, that can export into some kind of text-based file.. preferably xml but not nessecary,

i can easily create a php filtering script that can add keywords to the sql database regaurdless of the structure of the file, based on folder and photo organization (if you upload via ftp & batch-add), but i dont have any way of getting the labels out of the program into a file.. at least that i know of...

has been requested before, no mod available. A simple search for "picasa" would have told you as well.
