Hi all,

Having bridged PHPBB and Coppermine I now want to create or modify the groups.

They don't seem to be using the same groups!

I'd like to have two groups:

Administrators, two of these, who have access to everything an administrator would have normally in both applications, and

Members that can upload images, edit and modify their own once up and have access to an area of the forum just for them.

Is there an easy way to do this?

At the moment to enable uploading and editing of albums I have to make everyone and administrator and I want to avoid this!

I have got phpmyadmin set up so if it's as easy as changing some data in a particular table that would be great.

Thanks in advance, JG

Nibbler

You should be able to do that in the same way as in unbridged coppermine, set the appropriate group permissions.

OK.

In Coppermine this is the set up:

Admin - Disk quota: 0 / Can rate files: yes / Can send ecards: yes / Can post comments: yes / Can upload: yes / Pub approval: no / Personal gall: No / Priv approval: no / file-url / cs / 10 / 10
Members -  Disk quota: 0 / Can rate files: yes / Can send ecards: yes / Can post comments: yes / Can upload: yes / Pub approval: no / Personal gall: No / Priv approval: no / file-url / cs / 10 / 10
Guests  - Disk quota: 0 / Can rate files: yes / Can send ecards: yes / Can post comments: yes / Can upload: no / Pub approval: yes / Personal gall: No / Priv approval: yes / single / no / 5 / 3
Banned -  Disk quota: 0 / Can rate files: no/ Can send ecards: no/ Can post comments: no/ Can upload: no / Pub approval: yes / Personal gall: No / Priv approval: yes / single / no / 5 / 3

Because the two are bridged, login users the PHPBB user details.

In PHPBB all users bar me, the ADMINISTRATOR are defined as USER.

However this entitles them to edit everything in both PHPBB and Coppermine.

Any ideas?

OK Nibbler, I've now re-created the userpics albums and this enables me to leave members without the admin rights but able to upload of course.

Is there any way of enabling them to edit their own titles, descriptions, keywords and swap theimage between their own userpics albums?

Cheers JG
