Hi, I have been using Copper Mine gallery since it came with Fantastico on my webhosting. Recently I shifted to my own server and am willing to install a standalone Coppermine Gallery but I am DEFINITELY not sure what to do.

Can anyone please let me know how to install the gallery (In steps) and help me install GD or ImaheMagick as I was un.successful at that.

Also, is there any link on the site for donation to the project ?

Adieu!

And yes,

I have PHP 4.1.2 and Apache 1.3.26 on a Debian 3.0 server.

Installation instuctions are in the documentation.  You should upgrade both Apache and PHP before beginning.  There are serious security holes in PHP < 4.3.10, and you should use at least 1.3.33 for Apache, if not 2.0.54.

The best instructions for ImageMagick and GD are on each product's website.  We don't have a board for server configurations.  If you search our boards you may find a few posts about installation for those products.

We don't accept donations.  If you wish to donate cash, please donate to your favorite charity.  :)

I might be able to help.

What kind of server? Dedicated? VPS? Which control panel do you have? CPanel?

Also, I believe Fantastico doesn't install the latest build of cpg
You know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocketship underpants don't help.
