You all thinking what f* is this?

Well let me explain:
pnCPG 1.5 is Coppermine running in a iframe and isn't fully integrated into postnuke.
Now i'm one of the CPG for PHPNuke Devs and wondered why there's no coppermine fully integrated into postnuke.
So as postnuke newbe i started checking the differences between PHPNuke and Postnuke, and all i could see that there are no big differences.

Since we totally revised the CPG for phpnuke it was damn easy to run our integrated version on postnuke after some modifications.

So please answer above poll.

I really appreciate that my question http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=1607 is going to get an answer very soon!

I have a good collection of postnuke sites installed (both online .713/.714 and locally .713/.714/.726) and enough willingness to test and debug.

Hope to work soon!

hehehe eolica i've read your post a few weeks back and discussed with Scott how we could do that

So with my phpNuke "advanced" knowledge i started the task 3 weeks back.
Spitting thru all content of postnuke.

So your post was realy the start of this :)

So if there are people realy wanna test here's the TEST package:
http://tunesplayer.com/coppermine/coppermine.zip

install.php doesn't work for postNuke so please read Installation-english.txt carefully.

I fully support the initiative and am already testing the package.
So far it looks very promising. Full integration beats pnCPG by far.
There are a number of things which still need to be addressed, such as :
Install/Conversion/upgrade routines
Inclusion of the current PostNuke blocks

It is also important to realise that in order to make this happen, changes have to be made to 2 Core tables. In principle no problem but it does  mean that one has to bear this in mind whenever upgrading PostNuke (also phpNuke i assume).

Let's keep this one running !

simplythi

this is wonderful. will there be an option to move current cpg users to cpg2nuke mod?

casNuy

there is not yet a conversion program, all your postnuke users will automatically be available.
I am looking into this.
