After uploading a new folder into the album folder the new one has 755. I always set then the permission to 777 during batch add.

Is it important to CHMOD back all album subfolders after batch add to 755 (or 644) or can I let them on 777?

I didn't find the answer for this question in the forum, so I think is is not bad to have a professional answer for that in the forum.

Thanks  :)

I don't think 777 is a risk at all.  I agree with Unknown over at SimpleMachines.  You should go to SMF and search for Unknown's post about permissions.
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.
