Instead of deleting your own posting, you should have replied to your own posting, saying what you did to solve your issue - this would have helped others who might have similar issues to yours . It's the point of having a forum, think of it as a knowledge-base.

Sorry, but it was a really obvious question that I overlooked in haste. But, if you think it will be beneficial to others, here it is.

I just wanted to know if it was possible for a user to have a private album that was viewable by the public, but only uploadable by them.
