Hey guys let me just state that i am in no way trying to remove the link powered by coppermine on my album.
I am trying to add into so it would look like <a href="coppermine.sourceforge.net" rel="nofollow">
if this isnt possible then would their be another way besides adding "nofollow" into the meta tag as i actually want the site indexed.

Some background information on the rel="nofollow" tag is that it does not show up duriing a Search engine spider craw as a spammed link that could hurt serp.

I don't follow your reasoning behind doing this.

what's a "spammed link"? Most popular open source apps have a footer similar to the one in question - it doesn't hurt your site's popularity, nor does it hurt our's.
