I was searching for a  way to make something a featured picture that could stay on the main page for as long as I see fit. I thought of an easy way around this woudl be to use top rated and just remove the rating from the pictures and change "Top Rated" on the main page to something else.

How do I do this?  Or woudl suggest a better way to do this?

Perhaps I create another category as featured but then I would have to duplicate the picture and also put in a regular category.

Example 
Food Of the Month =Eggs

Albumbs
Food
   Eggs
