Xoops bridge causes major(!) error

After trying to enable the bridge to my Xoops system (the bridge is for Xoops 2.0, I have installed Xoops 2.2), Coppermine is totally unusable. Whatever I try (even calling the bridgemanager via the URL as described in the docs) to call Coppermine, I get this error page:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '&', expecting T_VARIABLE or '$' in /PATH_TO_MY_HOMEPAGEr/cpg/bridge/xoops.inc.php on line 104

. I think I have to reinstall CPG.

Just thought I let you know, maybe somebody can look over it.
