Phpbb Login problem --yes I did look at the other threads

Okay.. so I tried not to post. I scoured the other threads and tried several of the fixes supplied for each of the problems. Non worked.

So sorry for the post but I am stumped.

without integration I can login just fine. With integration on, I try to log in and it sends me to the phpbboard login just fine, I log in and it bounces me to the gallery just fine, but I am still not logged in.

I know from reading that it is a cookie problem of some sort, but darn it if I cant find an answer that fixes my issue.

I edited your above posting, it contained your mySQL password, which is a no-no on a public board. For security reasons, I strongly recommend to change your password immediately.
You have enabled session authentification in phpBB. However, coppermine needs cookie authentification to make bridging work. Go to your phpBB control panel and change the auth method there, then try again.

hmmmm... now when I login to the phpbboard.. I can but when I click the admin menu link at the bottom of the page, it bounces me back to the login.

okay. I am back into the admin again.. when I reset the cookie params i did it wrong. Fixed that .. now I am back to being able to log in. Below are the settings I have for cookies.

Set it to "/" only, the cookie has to be readible for coppermine.

okay.. i set the cookie path in Phpbb to "/"  when I enable bridging it acts the same. Loops...lets me log in into the board but then when it goes to the gallery page I am not logged in.

what about setting the cookie path in CM to /phpbboard to match where it is configured for phpbb?

okay.. now... not bridged.. I get a red Warning your browser does not accept script's cookies even though I turned all security off and set accept all cookies.

So I can log in.. but no admin priviledges.


Boy I tell you.. I appreciate your help.. but what a pain this all is. Can I just pay you to go in and get it working?

off too bed for me.. gotta get up in 4 hrs. Let me know about the script. I have installed tons of scripts and I am pretty comfortable that I have followed all the instructions. Just something small is being missed here and I am at a loss.

Put the copperine cookie settings back as they were, making coppermine's cookies unreadable by coppermine is hardly going to help you.

Also, these must match

bridge file:
