Hi,
1st, sorry for my english, im Galician (spanish)

I'm translating the Brazil language to Galician language, they have very simil.
but, in the meantime i doing the translation, i want use the archive "brazilllian_portuguese-php" as container Galician lang
and my question is: in where file i need change the "title" atribute for put "Galician"? or, in waht file are there the "titles" of the flags?

and other, are there the Galician Flag for CPG? because my galician flag is different: look, www.fotosdesarria.tk

and no more. Thank you very much :)

Joachim Müller

just rename your file version brazilllian_portuguese.php to galician.php and it will turn up in the config options of your gallery. Choose it as a default and you're fine. There currently is no flag for galician in coppermine's images folder, just use the one I attached to this posting - put it into /images/flags/, then edit /include/functions.inc.php, find$lang_language_data['french'] = array('French','Français','fr');and add after it (in a new line)$lang_language_data['galician'] = array('Galician','Galego','es_gln');

Once you're done with your translation, please post your language file here (attach it to your posting by renaming it from galician.php to galician.php.txt and then using "additional options" when composing your message).

hi,

here the file Galician.php

i think the code language is only "gl"

and a question, i need translate it in utf-8 too? how is this?

to do the utf-8 translation, only change the codification no?  iso-8859-1 for utf-8 , is correct?

well, other, my translation in php iso-8859-1 is all with characters specials "Jesús" for "Jesús", is this correct?

and no more, moitos saúdos :)

Joachim Müller

thnaks for your contribution, I changed your status accordingly. There's no need to create the utf-8 version, I did that for you. Please refer to [Help wanted]: Translations for CPG1.3.x.

Quinti

there was 2 mistakes in galician lang, i was put "Search in The name of MY gallery" and "FAq with the Name of MY gallery"

here is good
"Search in The gallery" and "FAq of the gallery"

sorry

Joachim Müller

erm, what? I don't understand. Please write instructions like
Quotefindfooand replace withbar

Quinti

the first galician.php i'm upload here, was an error
the version without error, are there, in my last post here

in the  search button of the gallery, i was translated as "search in the Sarria Gallery" ("sarria gallery" is the name of my gallery)
that was the error,

and in the last upload i did here, are all right

Quinti

in my firts translate galician.php i put:

var button_search_etc="Procura na Galería de Sarria"

when the correct is and are now in my last upload:
var button_search_etc="Procura na Galería"

"Sarria", is the name of my page , there was a error

Joachim Müller

The actual instructions should have been:
Edit galician.php, find 0 => 'Procurar na galeria de fotos de Sarria',and replace with 0 => 'Procurar na galeria',.

Anyway, fixed in CVS.

this is the final final galician lang for 1.3.x good!!

Joachim Müller

actually, I had to apply some changes to make this a valid coppermine language file (you might want to review the translator docs). Please use the version I comitted to the cvs (may take up to 24 hours untill it shows up there) if you're planning to add further improvements, and use the "official" i18n thread for cpg1.3.x ([Help wanted]: Translations for CPG1.3.x) in the future (locking this one). Thanks for your contrib.

Joachim

P.S. For ease of use, I have attached the modified version to this posting. You should however check the cvs.
