I've tried to bridge phpbb to cpg, but mysql said that there is a connection error while tring to connect to phpbb database, the forum is working and the cpg was working before the brigding, now only the forum works. When I've removed the changes (like before the bridging), everything was fine... any idea (help) how to make this done... :-[

Read the documentation - bridging is clearly explained.
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

There are no stupid questions

The thread Nibbler refered to is a sticky thread on the bridging board, it says:

When requesting bridge support
Please post a link to your site, a test user account, and what you have changed in the bridge file.

Thankyou.
In other words: he's asking that you do as suggested and post a link, non-admin test user account and the changes you applied to the bridge file (minus your password), that's all. Not that hard to understand imo ::).
