I am tweaking a theme and I encountered this problem where the main table centers itself and the background images (which lie in 3 div tags) are repeating themselves.  It looks ok if you are browsing at 800 x 600 but any more strectched than that and it is completely wonky.  Here is what I am talking about:

Would I change the .topmenu tag in the style sheet?

Or is it more something I have to change in the theme itself?

Thank you for any help on this.

i might try setting the table size in the admin->config to the width of your static background image.

and or background set to no-repeat, background-attachment:center, etc...

hi Snork.. thanks.

I already tried that.. and it helped.. made the table the right width for my template.   But if you stretch it out the browser beyond 800 px wide the background css repeats itself and the coppermine table floats in the middle of it all.. probably easiest to check out my link and try it for yourself.

Alright!    Snork fixed it for me and Gaugau you somehow answered my next question... before I asked it.

Thanks a lot

Cheers! :-)
