i get this error when trying to upload an image:

improper server setup - your server shows all files when browsing to a folder, which is not a good thing to have. However, read the tutorial Trouble-Shooting the upload process

I didn't ask for the debug_output, re-read the page I refered to.

TheSavior

i did that also. i did that, and i also posted the debug and member info because those are the last steps on the page you reffered to me.

Joachim Müller

You haven't posted a link to your coppermine install, and I'm not going to browse the myriad of folders on your site. Don't make it so hard for others to support you. The actual link would probably be http://www.lonelylizard.com/~eli/coppermine/cpg134/index.php

The actual error message I get when I try to upload is
QuotePHP running on your server does not support the GD image library, check with your webhost if ImageMagick is installed

File: /raid5/home/eli/public_html/coppermine/cpg134/include/picmgmt.inc.php - Line: 203
- should be pretty self-explanatory. Your server is misconfigured, you appear to be self-hosted. Either install ImageMagick and set up coppermine to use it or install GD or find some decent webhosting (recommended).

TheSavior

i have a great server, and it has php, mysql, and everything i could need. How can i install GD because that is probobly the problem as it appears.

kegobeer

Apparently not quite everything you need.  You need to recompile php with GD2 support.  If you are self hosted, and you don't know how to do this, there are plenty of resources on the internet for webserver configuration.  If you are hosted, ask your host for support.
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

There are no stupid questions
But there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots

TheSavior

ok, that was what i really needed to know. I will get that done soon.
