I am trying to install Coppermine on a local server. I can upload all the files, chmod all relevant permissions, and load the install page to fill out the relevant info. This is where my problem begins. I fill in the fields with relevant data and click on the button at the bottom of the page, and I get the install page again asking for the info I just input.

I have tried, altering everything I can think of having to do with permissions, directory, etc,. I have even deleted and re-uploaded into new directories, everytime I get the same result. Either it says my permissions aren't correct (they are) or the installation loops me right back to the beginnning.

If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate them, I use phpBB, love it and want badly to add a matching photogallery,...

Provide your server details: php, mysql, os
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

Provide your server details: php, mysql, os

Apache 1.3.33, PHP 5.03, MySQL 4.1.14, Mac OS X (10.4.2)

As a side note phpBB2 runs just fine in the same environment.
